Bonnie Bonomo, Program and Outreach Director for Leeza’s Place Memorial Hospital Pembroke has provided help and hope to caregivers in South Florida for the past 6 years. Her compassion for families blended with her own caregiving experience and dynamic spirit bring a true depth to Leeza’s Place, “A Place for Caregivers”. At the helm of this community resource center dedicated to supporting caregivers dealing with any chronic or progressive illness, Bonnie has developed many creative, cutting-edge, meaningful programs that Educate, Empower and Energize caregivers and their loved ones.

Most recently Bonnie served as the National Director of Operations for the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation, overseeing the programming and operations of 8 Leeza’s Places. Due to her strong desire to work directly with families Bonnie recently re-joined our local Leeza’s Place at Memorial Hospital Pembroke.

A Caregiver with a natural tendency for guiding, counseling and nurturing, Bonnie utilizes her depth of understanding to touch the lives of caregivers in a massive way, everyday.

 Before coming to the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation, Bonnie served as Marketing Director for McDonald’s Restaurants of Southeast and Southwest Florida where she was responsible for the marketing, public relations and fundraising efforts for over 260 McDonald’s Restaurants. Promotional development, branding strategies, innovation and execution of national programs were all part of her job. Her guidance and oversight of all regional public relations efforts and advertising agencies were crucial in the launch of several new products and generating awareness for McDonald’s Restaurants and The Ronald McDonald Houses of Southeast and Southwest Florida.
