Based on Central East Florida’s Space Coast, Health First is a community-based, owned, and operated not-for-profit integrated healthcare network with the Mission of “positively changing the health and well-being of you and your family through excellent and compassionate health care.” We operate three hospitals—Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, and Palm Bay Hospital in Palm Bay—and a fourth—Viera Hospital—is scheduled to open in 2011.

As Brevard County’s largest healthcare provider we also offer four outpatient diagnostic centers; the Southeast’s first eICU® program for 24/7 monitoring of ICU patients; specialized cancer, stroke, and hospice programs accredited by The Joint Commission, as well as a heart and trauma center; four fitness centers with rehabilitative services; more than 50 physicians in 32 practices; Commercial and Medicare Advantage HMO health plans; First Flight air transport; the William Childs Hospice House; home care services; and more.
