February 2005 Jeanne Wines-Reed, co-author of Scrapbooking for Dummies Donates time to Leeza’s Places On Saturday, January 29th, Leeza’s Place of Manhattan was pleased to present a workshop with Jeanne Wines-Reed, co-author of Scrapbooking for Dummies, in New York City. This event was hosted by Atria 86th Street and included many of Atria’s senior residents. Both residents and visitors who attended the workshop were treated to inspiring words from Jeanne, a delicious lunch and a goody bag filled with items donated by various scrapbooking manufacturers. On Thursday, February 17th, Health First Leeza’s Place in Melbourne, Florida was delighted to host Jeanne for a Scrapbooking for Dummies workshop where attendees once again were given the opportunity to participate in hands-on instruction and advice. Many in attendance are caregivers for family members suffering from memory disorders and regularly attend scrapbooking sessions at Leeza’s Place as a supportive activity. They were very excited to learn new ways of capturing their special family memories and were most appreciative of Jeanne’s time and their well-stocked goody bags.
