On Friday, March 24th, South Florida's first Leeza's Place opened in partnership with Memorial Hospital Pembroke. Leeza's Place at Memorial Hospital Pembroke celebrated in grand style with more than 500 visitors from the community in attendance over the course of the day.

The 11:30 dedication ceremony speakers included Leeza, LGMF Executive Director and Co-founder Jamie Huysman, television celebrity Cristina Saralegui, MHP Administrator Martha Garcia, MHS President/CEO Frank Sacco and South Florida Hospital District Commissioner Laura Raybin-Miller.

Thank you to the tireless efforts of Martha Garcia and her staff, Dr. Jeffrey Steinberg, Memory Foundation staff and a special thanks to our care advocate, Bonnie Bonomo whose dedication and skill will be evident as Leeza's Place serves the caregivers and their loved ones in Broward County.
