What's Going On

Leeza’s Place by WellMed at the Bob Ross Senior Center's first ever Tea Party...

Tea PartyOn July 23rd, Leeza's Place had its first ever Tea Party! We had a great turnout serving between 75 -100 caregivers who undoubtedly loved having a tea party...some wore hats and those who didn't commented that they would definitely have to get a fabulous hat to wear for next year!

Thanks to you, our charitable partners, for your contributions of Tea Pots and Food for our event. And extra special thanks to Laurie Comrie (with the WellMed Charitable Foundation) for getting three lovely gift baskets that were given away to three very special caregivers. Of course all of our Caregivers are special, but sometimes you see a caregiver who may need some extra special attention to let them know that they are not alone in their caregiving journey.

Tea PartyThe feedback from our event was outstanding! One of our caregivers, Araceli, commented, “I loved all the hats that the ladies wore, and all that were in attendance were very happy. The food was delicious, but most of all I loved that I was treated so special by everyone.”

Another guest said, "Your tea party was like a step back in time! The service you provide to the community is phenomenal and makes a difference in the lives of so many in need of support. Well done!"

We're thrilled with the response and look forward to making this an annual event!
